Job Description

The Role We're hiring an experienced tri-axle dump truck driver to haul hot mix asphalt, millings, and aggregate between plants and job sites. You'll be part of the paving crew, working directly with our paver operators and laborers to keep material moving and the mat down. This is hands-on work on active job sites. Dependability and safe driving matter more to us than anything else on your resume. What You'll Do Haul hot mix asphalt from supplier plants (Tilcon, O&G, Rawson) to job sites and back-haul millings and material Feed the paver and dump into trucks, spreaders, and stockpiles safely and on the operator's signal Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report defects immediately Keep accurate load tickets, delivery slips, and daily hours Tarp loads, maintain proper load securement, and comply with DOT weight limits Grease, fuel, and keep your assigned truck clean and roadworthy Follow all site traffic control, flagging, and PPE requirements What You Need Valid CDL Class A with a clean driving record and current medical card Minimum 2 years of dump truck experience; tri-axle experience strongly preferred Working knowledge of DOT regulations, pre-trip inspection, and load limits Ability to work early mornings, long days, and occasional Saturdays during paving season Able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in heat, cold, and around hot asphalt Reliable transportation to our yard Must pass pre-employment and random drug screening
Pay:
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 60.0 per week
