COMPENSATION

Average annual earnings: $90,000-$100,000 Mileage pay: $0.50-$0.52 per mile Daily pay: $85/day subject to schedule requirements Drop/Hook pay: $17.50 Position Details

• Full-time local Class A grocery-delivery position based in Windsor Locks, CT, operating within approximately a 250-mile radius.
• Approximately 1,350 miles per week and 5 loads per week.
• Monday-Friday schedule with start times around 3:00 AM; a sixth day may be available for additional earnings.
• Deliver dry grocery freight to supermarkets and distribution centers.
• Multi-stop routes, usually 2-3 stops per trailer.
• Drivers should expect frequent deliveries into New York City boroughs and Long Island.
• Drivers may unload freight using an electric pallet jack when required and may pick up return product or backhauls. Minimum Qualifications
• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 3 months of trucking experience.
• Strong customer-service skills.
• Ability to provide personal transportation to and from the work location.
• Ability to work scheduled holidays when required. Equipment & Work Conditions
• Automatic day cabs and box trailers.
• Slip seating may be required.
• Equipment cannot be taken home.
• No riders or pets.
