Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver and take charge of delivering freight across various routes with energy and precision! In this vital role, you'll operate tractor-trailers, including low bed moving equipment, dump trailer, and tri axle , ensuring timely and safe deliveries while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. Your expertise in commercial truck driving will keep our logistics moving smoothly, providing exceptional service to our clients. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers, including dump trailers, low beds, on over-the-road (OTR) routes, following all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Load and unload freight using manual handling techniques or equipment when necessary, ensuring cargo is secured properly for transportation. Navigate routes efficiently using GPS systems to meet delivery schedules while optimizing fuel consumption and route planning. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks to ensure compliance with safety standards; report any mechanical issues promptly. Experience Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including route driving and delivery driving in various environments. Valid CDL A license with clean driving record; experience operating manual transmission trucks preferred Knowledge of logistics cargo handling processes for freight loading/unloading and securing loads safely. Understanding of DOT regulations, FMCSA guidelines, hazardous materials regulations, and safety protocols related to truck driving Ability to handle manual loading/unloading tasks efficiently while maintaining safety standards for hazardous or fragile goods.
