Duties Safely operate a non-commercial (Non CDL) truck to deliver goods to designated locations. Plan delivery routes to optimize efficiency and meet delivery schedules. Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secured properly during transit. Verify delivery orders and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and proper functioning. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status or any issues encountered. Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation activities. Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including inventory checks or organizing shipments. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; no CDL license required but must meet state-specific non-CDL licensing requirements if applicable. Proven experience in delivery driving or similar roles preferred. Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and punctuality. Ability to navigate using GPS or maps efficiently. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Good communication skills for interacting with team members and customers. Ability to lift heavy packages and perform physical tasks related to loading/unloading cargo. Dependable, responsible, and committed to maintaining safety standards at all times.
