Dump Truck Driver/Laborer Laurel, DE 19956 From $20.60 an hour - Full-time From $20.60 an hour - Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from construction sites while ensuring safety and compliance with all regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment. Responsibilities Operate dump trucks to transport materials such as soil, gravel, and debris to designated locations. Ensure the safe loading and unloading of materials, adhering to weight limits and safety protocols. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition. Collaborate with site managers and other team members to coordinate deliveries and pickups efficiently. Maintain accurate records of materials transported, including delivery tickets and logs. Assist in the operation of heavy equipment such as bulldozers and loaders when required. Follow all safety guidelines and regulations while on construction sites. Skills Valid commercial driving license (CDL) is required. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members on-site.
