Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service, ensuring that deliveries are made on time and in excellent condition. Responsibilities Operate refrigerated trailers, for the delivery of freight. Load and unload cargo as necessary, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and deliveries as required by law. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport. Follow all safety protocols while driving, loading, and unloading materials. Navigate routes efficiently using GPS or maps while adhering to traffic laws. Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver or truck driver with a strong understanding of freight transportation. Experience with forklifts is a plus for loading and unloading cargo. Familiarity with refrigerated trailers is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform vehicle inspections effectively. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. We are NOT hiring individuals who are currently involved in the SAP program
