Are you comfortable driving at night, working independently, and paying close attention to details? American Sign & Lighting is hiring a reliable Night Field Inspector to travel assigned routes throughout Delaware and Maryland's Eastern Shore and inspect exterior lighting and signage. This is a part-time, field-based position for someone who enjoys being on the road, can work independently with minimal supervision, and is comfortable using mobile technology to document their work. What You'll Be Doing Travel assigned routes during evening and nighttime hours. Visually inspect exterior lighting and signage for outages, damage, or other issues. Take clear, high-quality photos of issues identified in the field. Document inspection results using a tablet or mobile application. Submit complete and accurate findings to our Operations team. Manage assigned field responsibilities independently and reliably. Professional driving or route-based experience. Comfortable driving and working independently at night. Strong attention to detail and observation skills. Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Excel. Comfortable using GPS, smartphones, tablets, and mobile apps. Smartphone capable of taking clear, high-quality photos. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
