Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating dump trucks to transport and deliver materials across various job sites. Your expertise in truck driving, route management, and equipment handling will ensure efficient operations and timely deliveries. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale construction and material hauling projects while maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities Operate dump trucks with manual transmission safely and efficiently across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload materials such as gravel, dirt, or debris. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck to ensure proper functioning of brakes, lights, tires, and other critical components. Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, routes taken, fuel consumption, and maintenance needs. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel to coordinate deliveries and pickups. Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries during loading, unloading, or driving activities. Qualifications Proven experience operating dump trucks or similar heavy-duty vehicles in a commercial driving environment. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with necessary endorsements for dump trucks Skilled in manual transmission operation. Knowledge of route driving best practices along with load & unload procedures for freight transportation. Must be able to pass a drug test. Ability to perform routine truck maintenance checks and minor repairs as needed. Strong understanding of safety regulations related to trucking and material hauling.
