We are looking for a Roll Off Driver who possesses a valid CDL-A or B License. They will be responsible for hauling materials, supplies and more. Our Drivers will have the ability to problem solve, work in a team, have knowledge of industry materials, strong communication skills and have safety awareness. Our ideal candidate will be punctual as well as maintain professionalism in any and all situations. Roll Off Driver Duties and Responsibilities Perform safety checks, pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safe operating conditions Complete any needed reports for defective equipment Drive trucks between pre-established locations Operate hydraulic lifting devices to empty truck; attach hooks to receptacles Communicate with dispatchers concerning delays, unsafe routes, equipment break downs Pick up and deliver roll-off boxes at commercial and residential construction sites in the city and the suburbs. Some locations require drivers to navigate in narrow spaces with multiple obstacles. Other duties as assigned Roll Off Driver Requirements and Qualifications Must have CDL Class A or B Driver's License Must have DOT Medical Card and pass a pre-employment drug test and background/driving check Proven knowledge and the ability to operate trucks and other equipment as needed Must be able to drive manual transmission Ability to sit, climb, bend or stand for an extended period of time. In addition, individuals must be able to reach above shoulders and lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Certifications and Competency Cards are a plus Minimum 2 years of CDL/Safety Operation Experience Compensation Based on experience
