In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for operating company vehicles safely while leading a crew of landscaping and groundskeeping professionals. Your leadership will ensure that all landscape maintenance, lawn care, and hardscaping projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine hands-on outdoor work with team management, contributing to beautiful and well-maintained outdoor spaces. Duties Safely operate company trucks and equipment to transport crew members and materials to job sites Lead and supervise a team of grounds maintenance, landscaping, and hardscaping specialists on daily projects Coordinate and oversee landscape maintenance tasks including lawn care, planting, pruning, irrigation management, and groundskeeping Manage hardscaping construction projects such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures Identify plants, trees, and horticultural elements to ensure proper care and maintenance Ensure all crew members adhere to safety protocols and proper equipment operation procedures Maintain equipment including groundskeeping tools, irrigation systems, and landscaping machinery; perform routine maintenance as needed Communicate project timelines, assign tasks effectively, and monitor progress to meet client expectations Support team development through training on landscape techniques, equipment use, and safety standards Requirements Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or groundskeeping with outdoor work environments Supervising or team management experience in landscaping or hardscaping projects Strong knowledge of plant identification, horticulture practices, and tree care techniques Ability to operate landscaping equipment, and company vehicles safely and efficiently Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse crew effectively Knowledge of grounds maintenance tools and equipment operation; ability to perform routine repairs or coordinate maintenance tasks Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate a company vehicle responsibly Physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions; capable of lifting heavy materials when necessary Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients alike Join us in transforming outdoor spaces into vibrant landscapes!
