Machine Operator and CDL A Dump Truck Driver

Established high end pool company looking for an operator/Driver. Need to have a CDL A we have a dual axle Freightliner and Tri Axle Kenworth Dump. We have 3 sizes of small bobcats, E20, E26 and E35 that we dig pools with. Shuttle with a T450, T595 and T64 front loader/skid steer. Most jobs are tight access. We use a shaper down in the pool, but good experience with the machines is a big plus. Will be shuttling dirt to truck, loading truck and driving from dig site to dump site. Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Operator/Driver to join our dig team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating heavy machinery on construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. The Excavator Operator will work closely with other team members to support various construction activities, including excavation, grading, and site preparation. Responsibilities Operate skid steers and other heavy machinery such as bulldozers, backhoes, and loaders on construction sites. Perform tasks related to horizontal drilling and site excavation to prepare for building foundations and other structures. Collaborate with site supervisors and crew members to ensure project specifications are met. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Safely transport materials using dump trucks and water trucks as needed. Follow all safety protocols and regulations while working on-site to minimize risks and hazards. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring that tools and equipment are properly stored after use. Qualifications Proven experience operating excavators or similar heavy machinery in a construction environment. Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise. Familiarity with construction site operations, including the ability to read blueprints and project plans. Experience with additional machinery such as tankers, dump trucks, water trucks, backhoes, and loaders is preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on the job site. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Valid driver's license may be required depending on job location and responsibilities.
