Job Description
The incumbent in this position is responsible for performing housekeeping/custodial assignments in the STOF facilities and premises including bathrooms, kitchen area, dining room area, as well as washing dishes. The individual drives a 15-person vehicle (van) in order to transport STOF Tribal Members to and from a specified STOF community service activity or program as needed. The individual also drives a cargo type vehicle in order to transport meal prepared by the center and deliver to the homes of the tribal elders. The incumbent will also provide other services to Tribal Members as needed. High School diploma or equivalent GED is required. A minimum of one (1) year of experience working with elders and/or in an adult setting is preferred. The incumbent must possess a valid Florida Driver's License. Knowledge of basic first-aid and/or CPR techniques is required. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work flexible hours, appropriate to program requirements and may be required to remain on-call during a program week. Travel (local and out of state) is a requirement of this position.
