Job Description
Be Part of the Team behind Home -Based Care! The Seminole Tribe of Florida's Home Care Services Department is seeking an organized and service-focused Office Assistant to help keep daily operations running smoothly. This role provides essential administrative support to the Home Care Services team, including scheduling patient appointments, answering and routing calls, maintaining records, assisting with correspondence, coordinating office needs, and supporting clinical staff. Although this is an administrative position, your work directly supports the team responsible for delivering quality services to Tribal members i their homes. Position Summary:
The incumbent in this position is responsible for assisting with daily office tasks, providing routine clerical support to the Seminole Tribe of Florida's Home Care Services Department. The individual is responsible for answering telephones, greeting visitors, composing and typing a variety of standard documents and correspondence, distributing incoming and outgoing correspondence, organizing office space for meetings, processing forms, ordering supplies, organizing and maintaining records, and assisting the Home Care Services staff with other clerical duties.Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent GED is required. Minimum of two (2) years of experience working as a clerical/administrative support utilizing office equipment, following standard office procedures including typing, filing, archiving, ordering office supplies and maintaining interdepartmental communications is required. Prior experience in the medical field is preferred. Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft office software is required. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, organizational, and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate excellent telephone etiquette skills. Possession of a valid Florida Driver's License is required. Ability to travel and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Pay:
