Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Flatbed Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting vehicles via flatbed tow trucks, primarily focusing on car towing. This role requires strong communication skills in both English and Spanish, as well as the ability to negotiate when buying cars. Duties Operate flatbed tow trucks to transport vehicles safely and efficiently. Tow various types of vehicles, primarily cars, ensuring proper handling and securement during transit. Assist customers with vehicle drop-offs and pickups, providing excellent customer service. Negotiate when purchasing vehicles, demonstrating effective communication skills in both English and Spanish. Conduct routine inspections of the tow truck to ensure it is in good working condition before each shift. Maintain accurate records of all towing activities, including vehicle details and delivery information. Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws to ensure safe operations at all times. Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members regarding job status and any issues encountered. Experience Prior experience in car towing or flatbed truck operation is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate. Ability to negotiate effectively when buying cars, demonstrating good judgment and interpersonal skills. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required to communicate with a diverse customer base and negotiate deals confidently. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential. Knowledge of local traffic laws and safety regulations related to commercial vehicle operation.
