In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining beautiful landscapes, operating groundskeeping equipment, and safely driving company vehicles to various job sites. Your enthusiasm for outdoor work combined with your technical skills will help us deliver exceptional landscaping services while ensuring safety and efficiency on every project. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, develop your horticultural expertise, and contribute to creating stunning outdoor spaces. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, pruning, and planting bed care to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy Operate a variety of groundskeeping and landscaping equipment such as power tools, lawn mowers, trimmers, and hardscape tools with precision and safety Manage irrigation systems, including installation, repair, and routine adjustments to ensure optimal watering of plants and lawns Identify plants accurately and apply appropriate horticultural practices; manage pest control using safe pesticide management techniques in compliance with safety protocols Safely drive company vehicles to transport tools, equipment, and personnel between job sites while adhering to all traffic laws and safety guidelines Assist in tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and removal; perform ground maintenance including snow plowing during winter months when necessary Follow all safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents or injuries during outdoor work and equipment operation Experience Prior outdoor work experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, or related fields is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques, plant identification, and horticulture principles Hands-on experience operating power tools, hand tools, irrigation systems, and groundskeeping equipment safely and effectively Familiarity with pesticide management practices and safety procedures for chemical application Ability to perform physically demanding tasks outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving commercial or large vehicles is a plus Strong understanding of safety protocols related to outdoor work environments and equipment operation Join our team to help craft beautiful landscapes while honing your skills in a fast-paced, energetic environment!
