$1,200.00 per week Job description: Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Yard Jockey Driver to join our Transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently maneuvering tractor-trailers within our yard, ensuring smooth traffic flow, safe handling of freight, and accurate movement of refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and other freight equipment. Your expertise in commercial driving and route driving will keep our operations running seamlessly. Responsibilities Safely operate yard tractors and other heavy-duty trucks with manual transmissions to move trailers around the yard.. Conduct pre-trip inspections on tractor-trailers to ensure safety and compliance with company standards. Coordinate with warehouse staff to position trailers. Maintain accurate records of trailer movements. Follow all safety protocols and traffic regulations within the yard environment. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Experience driving tractor-trailers with manual transmissions in a commercial setting. Ability to operate refrigerated trailers. Excellent communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions. Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift as needed during shift hours.
