Drivers for Local Loads in South Florida Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Drivers to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating manual sleeper cab and day cab tractors with 53' trailers or containers. A strong focus on safety and customer service is essential, as you will be responsible for delivering products to various locations on time. Responsibilities Operate manual (NOT automatic) tractors Drive along designated routes (intrastate/ local) to deliver goods in a timely manner. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and delivery records. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries. Requirements Speak, read and write fluent English US work permit, residency status or citizenship 2 years minimum experience Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Experience with manual transmission vehicles. Familiarity with route driving and delivery driver responsibilities. Strong attention to detail for load securing and vehicle inspections. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers.
