  • Established in 1876, the Lewis Bear Company has been a locally-owned and operated distribution company for five generations. It is the oldest privately held corporation in Florida and Anheuser-Busch's oldest continuous distributor. Our territory is Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, Walton, Holmes, Washington, Bay, Jackson, Calhoun, Franklin and Gulf Counties in Florida.

CDL Class A Delivery Driver:
  • Drives truck over established route to deliver products, render services, and collect authorized payment methods from customers and performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Drives assigned vehicle to deliver Lewis Bear Company products to licensed customer's place of business. Collects authorized payment methods from customers, makes any necessary changes, and records all transactions on customer receipt using a company provided handheld. Obtains customers signature on the receipts on the handheld at the time of delivery. Services each retailer remembering that the customer is very important to The Lewis Bear Company and Anheuser-Busch and must be dealt with respectfully and courteously. Listens to and resolves service complaints or ensures customer satisfaction by informing the appropriate member of management. Responsible for maintaining all assigned company equipment in a clean and quality condition. Places stock on shelves or racks. Maintains rotation of products according to Anheuser-Busch and The Lewis Bear Company standards. Adheres to all quality control standards of Anheuser-Busch and The Lewis Bear Company. Responsible for merchandising all products as required and needed. Collects or picks up empty containers and rejected and/or old merchandise. Completes check-up of daily paperwork and authorized payment methods while following Lewis Bear Company procedures. Follows all Lewis Bear Company safety protocols and procedures. Informs regular customers of new products and services. Cleans the inside of all assigned vehicles. Performs DOT routine pre-trip and post-trip of the truck. The employee must regularly lift and move 25 pounds. The employee must occasionally lift and move up to 100 pounds. Must attend all required meetings. All other assigned duties. Requirements of a
CDL Class A Delivery Driver:
Must have a valid FL Class A CDL (commercial driver's license). 7 pts. or less on MVR within last 3 yrs. Current DOT Physical Medical Certificate. At least 1 yr. of CDL Class A driving experience. HS diploma or GED.
