The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, adherence to traffic regulations, and the ability to manage routes effectively. The Truck Driver will operate different types of vehicles, including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, and dump trucks, ensuring that all deliveries are completed in a timely manner. Duties Safely operate commercial vehicles including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, and dump trucks. Load and unload freight as necessary, ensuring proper handling of goods. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to meet customer expectations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety standards are met. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage and fuel consumption. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery status. Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries. Experience Proven experience as a Truck Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with route driving and delivery processes is essential. Experience with various types of freight handling is a plus. Knowledge of operating tanker trucks is advantageous. A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is NOT required. Must have DOT medical card. Strong understanding of safety protocols in commercial driving environments.
