Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Tow Truck Driver, where you'll be the vital link in vehicle recovery and roadside assistance. Your role will involve safely operating tow trucks to assist stranded motorists, recover vehicles involved in accidents, and transport vehicles securely to repair shops or impound lots. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your mechanical knowledge, driving expertise, and customer service skills while working in a fast-paced environment that values safety, efficiency, and professionalism. Duties Operate various tow trucks, including flatbed and vehicle recovery towing units, ensuring safe vehicle loading and unloading according to cargo securement protocols Conduct basic vehicle troubleshooting and minor mechanical repairs to prepare vehicles for transport or roadside assistance Perform automotive diagnostics to identify issues quickly and accurately during roadside calls or vehicle inspections Safely load and secure vehicles onto tow trucks using appropriate techniques for different types of vehicles, including cars and commercial trucks with manual transmissions Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, explaining services, and ensuring a positive experience during stressful situations Follow all safety procedures related to cargo securement, vehicle mechanics, and driving regulations for commercial truck driving Assist in vehicle recovery operations using specialized equipment for accident scenes or difficult recoveries Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving preferred Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive diagnostics, minor mechanical repairs, and basic vehicle troubleshooting Familiarity with flatbed tow trucks, vehicle mechanics specific to truck drivers, and safe vehicle loading techniques Strong conflict management skills to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally Knowledge of cargo securement protocols and safe driving practices for towing heavy or damaged vehicles Prior experience in car towing, vehicle recovery towing, or similar roles is highly desirable Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently and adhere to all safety standards during operations Join us as a Tow Truck Driver and be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering reliable roadside assistance while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction at every turn.
