About us The Becker Companies were founded by Richard E. Becker in the early nineteen sixties. The family enterprise is now managed by a third generation, over fifty years later. Then as now the company has been firmly rooted in Florida Agriculture. We're looking for a highly-experienced Company Driver to join our team. The Company Driver will be responsible for delivering and picking up plant materials throughout Central and South Florida. We expect our Company Driver to be flexible, have a strong knowledge of routes and possess excellent driving skills. The perfect candidate will be self-motivated, have a strong work ethic and enjoy being a part of a close-knit team. The work schedule is Monday - Friday with the occasional weekend haul 50+ hours per week with overtime pay Must have clean Class A License Able to operate a Fuller Eaton 10 speed manual transmission
Responsibilities:
Safely operate a Freightliner with flatbed and pintle hitch trailer and Semi with 53" drop deck trailer within company guidelines and in accordance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws. Safely and efficiently deliver the load to its destination. Accept direction from supervisor regarding load, destination, and/or delivery date. Work with the loading crews loading and unloading trucks. Be willing to work flexible hours.
