Job Description

PODS is seeking a reliable Local Class B CDL Driver to safely deliver and pick up portable storage containers for residential and commercial customers. In this on-site role, you'll operate a Class B vehicle on local routes, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and ensure secure, damage-free transport. You'll interact directly with customers, placing and retrieving containers with care, answering basic questions, and representing PODS' customer-first, safety-focused culture. Drivers work closely with dispatch and operations, gaining hands-on experience in transportation and logistics with opportunities for advancement across our nationwide network. Responsibilities Safely operate a Class B CDL vehicle to deliver and pick up PODS containers on local routes. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and ensure DOT and company safety compliance. Secure containers and loads to prevent damage during transport. Provide professional, courteous customer service at each stop, confirming placement and pickup details. Use routing tools and follow schedules to complete daily assignments efficiently. Accurately complete required delivery, pickup, and inspection documentation. Communicate with dispatch and team members regarding route status, delays, or issues. Assist with basic vehicle care, reporting maintenance needs promptly.
