Job Description

US Foods is seeking a safe, reliable CDL-A Delivery Driver to deliver foodservice products to restaurants, healthcare, and hospitality customers. In this fast-paced, performance-driven role, you'll operate tractor-trailers, unload products using liftgates and hand trucks, verify orders, and provide excellent customer service at each stop. You'll follow DOT and company safety standards, complete logs and delivery paperwork, and inspect equipment daily. Responsibilities Safely operate CDL-A tractor-trailer to deliver foodservice products Load, unload, and verify customer orders using liftgates and hand trucks Provide professional, courteous customer service at each delivery stop Follow all DOT, safety, and company compliance procedures Complete driver logs, delivery paperwork, and electronic documentation Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and report maintenance issues Operate material handling equipment and secure loads properly Collaborate with dispatch, warehouse, and routing teams Adhere to delivery schedules and productivity standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of truck and equipment Required Skills CDL-A driving DOT regulations compliance Route navigation Load securement Material handling equipment operation Order verification and documentation Time management Customer service Vehicle inspection and basic troubleshooting Safety procedures
