As we expand our operations throughout Central and North Florida from our Lakeland terminal , we are looking for experienced and dependable Tractor-Trailer Owner Operators to join our growing team. Equipment & Company Requirements Applicants must have: Their own active corporation/company Reliable, road-ready tractor 53-foot trailer Proper DOT operating requirements and documentation $400,000 Liability Insurance $50,000 Cargo Insurance Properly maintained, safe, and professional equipment Service Areas / Routes We are currently recruiting Owner Operators to cover: Zone 1

• Tampa / Central West Florida ZIP prefixes: 335, 336, 337, 338 Zone 2
• Orlando / Central Florida ZIP prefixes: 327, 328, 329, 347 Zone 3
• Jacksonville / North Florida ZIP prefixes: 320, 321, 322 Zone 4
• Ocala / Gainesville / North Central Florida ZIP prefixes: 326, 340-346, 348 Routes will originate from our Lakeland, Florida terminal .

Type of Freight Unified is a Final Mile LTL carrier.

Owner Operators will primarily handle:

Palletized LTL freight Commercial deliveries Multiple-stop delivery routes Customer pickups This is not household moving or furniture assembly work . Driver Expectations Owner Operators will be expected to: Complete all assigned deliveries and pickups Inspect and count freight before departure Properly secure and protect freight Report shortages, damages, or exceptions before leaving the terminal Obtain required PODs and shipment documentation Communicate with dispatch throughout the route Complete assigned pickups before returning to the terminal Provide professional and courteous service to customers Immediately communicate delays, breakdowns, delivery problems, or service failures Maintain their tractor and 53-foot trailer in safe and dependable operating condition What We Expect We are looking for professional Owner Operators who understand that service and reliability are everything in final-mile transportation . Drivers must be dependable, punctual, safety-conscious, responsive to dispatch, experienced with tractor-trailer/LTL operations, and comfortable operating multi-stop delivery and pickup routes . Missed pickups, preventable delivery failures, poor communication, or repeated service issues will not be acceptable. Why Join Unified?
