Role:

As a CDL Driver Class 'A', you will play a crucial role in the wholesale trade industry by ensuring the timely and safe delivery of goods to various locations. Your primary responsibility will be to operate commercial vehicles, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. You will be expected to maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked and vehicle inspections. Additionally, you will interact with customers and warehouse staff, providing excellent service and addressing any concerns that may arise during the delivery process. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to the efficiency of our supply chain and the satisfaction of our clients.

Sign On Bonus:

$500 after 60 days. $750 at 90 days provided the Samsara score is 90% or above. $1,250 at 180 days, contingent upon maintaining a Samsara score of 90% or higher. Responsibilities (but not limited to): Transport product between satellite locations Maintain or exceed standards for service and quality Reports any mechanical problems and accidents immediately Keep trucks clean and free of debris Keep track of all paperwork Report issues and inspect truck Load and unload rolling racks Always follow all safety standards and guidance Perform any other tasks and functions as directed by management Effective communication with co workers Operate GPS and/or cell phone to navigate effectively.

Requirements:

Drivers must be 21 years old with a valid A Class Driver's License and have an acceptable DMV driving record Must pass pre-employment substance abuse screening & DOT physical Must meet all qualifications as defined under DOT requirements Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.) Able to lift and or move up to 50 pounds Dependability and punctuality Must be able to work a varied schedule which includes weekends and some holidays

Experience:

Minimum 2 years driving/servicing the combination of a tractor unit and semi-trailer

License/Certification:

CDL A (Required)
