Overview Join our dynamic team as a Tow Truck Operator and become a vital part of our roadside assistance and vehicle recovery operations! In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for safely transporting vehicles, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring efficient recovery of disabled or damaged vehicles. Your mechanical aptitude and driving skills will help keep our operations running smoothly while delivering top-tier support to our clients. Duties Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and traditional tow trucks, to recover and transport vehicles safely and efficiently Conduct automotive diagnostics and basic repairs to assess vehicle condition before towing Load, unload, and secure vehicles using appropriate equipment such as straps, chains, and forklifts when necessary Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients during roadside assistance or vehicle recovery Maintain accurate logs of all towing activities, including vehicle details, locations, and times Follow safety protocols rigorously to prevent accidents or damage during towing operations Assist with mechanical troubleshooting using mechanical knowledge and mechanic experience to determine if further repairs are needed Skills Strong automotive diagnostics skills combined with solid mechanical knowledge Experience with manual transmissions and automotive repair procedures Valid commercial driver's license with a clean driving record for operating tow trucks and other heavy vehicles Proficiency in operating specialized equipment such as flatbeds, forklifts, and other loading tools Excellent conflict management skills to handle challenging situations professionally Ability to load & unload vehicles efficiently while adhering to safety standards Customer service-oriented mindset with clear communication skills for interacting with clients and team members This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to advance their automotive repair skills while providing essential roadside support.
