Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a CDL Driver and become a vital part of our logistics network! In this role, you will operate commercial trucks to transport building materials efficiently and safely across various routes. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers and flatbed vehicles, following all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Plan and navigate routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely delivery across diverse locations within 80 miles Load and unload freight with manual handling techniques and forklifts, ensuring cargo is secured properly for transport Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers to identify maintenance needs or safety issues Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any logistical issues Skills Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a focus on freight delivery across various routes and environments Strong knowledge of truck loading and unloading procedures, including freight handling for different cargo types Proficiency with GPS navigation tools and route planning for efficient delivery execution Familiarity with trucking equipment including manual transmission trucks Understanding of DOT regulations, FMCSA rules and safety protocols Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record; ability to operate tractor-trailers safely Ability to perform manual handling tasks related to cargo loading/unloading while maintaining safety standards Embark on a rewarding career as a CDL Driver where your skills drive success!
