Job Overview Pile Driver Journeyman or Leadman/Skilled marine labor
Job Description:
Heavy Marine Pile Driver - Driving steel piles (sheet/pipe/I-beam), concrete piles, and timber piles from a crane barge Summary As a Pile Driver Journeyman or skilled laborer familiar with marine work, you will play an essential role in supporting inshore and on-site projects through safe rigging practices, load handling, and pile driving support. Reporting to the site supervisor, you will help ensure pile driving operations are completed safely and efficiently while following construction safety regulations and Brothers' Construction, Inc.'s preferred methods and practices. Your knowledge of load securing, hydraulic systems, marine construction methods, mechanical practices, and commercial pile driving will help keep projects on schedule while maintaining high safety and quality standards. Job Requirements
  • At least 2 years in Heavy Civil Marine Construction
  • Proficient in all pile driving operations
  • Proficient in crane hand signalization
  • Proficient with all power/chain driven tools
  • Proficient in small watercraft operations and general waterway regulations
  • Familiar with welding
  • Familiar with project methods from a crane barge
  • Willingness to learn BCI's methodology for efficiency Responsibilities
  • Assist with pile driving operations in marine environments by supporting hydraulic/pneumatic/diesel equipment use, load handling, and precise material placement.
  • Secure loads using proper rigging methods and follow load securing procedures to maintain stability and safety.
  • Assist with layout needs as required
  • Adhere to construction site safety regulations, use appropriate PPE, and implement fall and hazard controls during operations.
  • Coordinate with signal persons, site personnel, and supervisors to optimize workflow and ensure timely execution of tasks. Project Locations Stuart to Palm Beach Job Type Full-time Work Location In person Benefits
