Job Description

Halvor Lines is seeking a professional Reefer Truck Driver to haul temperature-controlled freight across regional and over-the-road lanes in the U.S. and Canada. In this role, you'll operate well-maintained, late-model equipment, manage reefer units to protect perishable cargo, and ensure safe, on-time deliveries. Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, ELD-compliant logging, load securement, and clear communication with dispatch and customers. Responsibilities Operate refrigerated tractor-trailer on regional and OTR routes in the U. S. and Canada Manage reefer units to maintain required cargo temperatures and protect freight quality Perform thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections and document defects Comply with
FMCSA/DOT
regulations and maintain accurate ELD logs and paperwork Secure loads properly and handle freight with care to prevent damage Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and support staff about routes and delays Follow safe driving practices and company safety policies at all times Report maintenance needs promptly and coordinate with shop for repairs Plan routes and manage hours of service to ensure on-time deliveries Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance driving and safety skills Required Skills CDL-A truck driving Reefer unit operation
