Full Job Description Locate Property:
Track down missing items using databases, license plate scanners, or "skip tracing" (investigative research to find a debtor's current address or workplace).
Recover Items:
Seize the vehicle or asset when it is sitting in an open, public, or accessible area like a driveway or street parking spot, often using a tow truck.
Transport and Report:
Move the recovered property to a secure storage lot and report the action to local police so the owner knows it was legally repossessed rather than stolen.
Complete Paperwork:
Document the condition of the vehicle and file inventory reports for the bank or lending company.
