Job Description:
The Driver at La Posada is responsible for helping to implement the community's philosophy of well-being through daily interaction with residents and providing transportation to community programs, events and resident appointments as required. Provide exemplary customer service that encourages independence and fosters a secure and friendly environment.
Schedule:
Full-time with varying shifts. Available schedules include Monday-Friday 9:30 AM-5:30 PM and 12:00 PM-8:00 PM. Must be available to work weekends as needed.
Pay Range:
$17.00/hr - $19.00/hr Paid Vacation / Sick Time / 7 Paid Holidays Excellent - Medical / Dental / Vision Benefits / 401K Free Meal each shift •Clean / Valid Florida license required• Experience in wheelchair securement a plus. CDL not needed but a plus as well. What will I do every day? Drive vehicles to community events, shopping excursions, etc. Assist with scheduling transportation as required Promote resident attendance and participation in all Wellness Programs and community activities Monitor general maintenance and overall safety of vehicles Assist in setting up/tearing down Community events as needed. What will I need to be successful in this role? High school graduate or equivalent 3+ years' experience as a driver (preferably with seniors) Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
Special Requirements/Certifications:
Valid driver's license and proof of good driving record Commercial Driver's License or ability to obtain one within reasonable time of employment (as required) First Aid Certification or willing to obtain one What's in it for me?
