This role is essential in ensuring our patients arrive on time, comfortably, and with the highest level of care and professionalism. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Transport patients to and from medical appointments safely and professionally Confirm appointments with our patients Perform daily car inspections, keep the car clean and well-maintained Regularly check for safety issues and report any concerns to the appropriate manager Follow all traffic regulations and ensure a smooth and timely journey to the designated locations Assist patients in boarding and disembarking from the vehicle, providing any necessary support, such as helping them with walkers or wheelchairs Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, their families, and medical staff to address any concerns or special requirements Notify Dispatch or supervisors about any minor/major repairs and maintenances. Work with support team to provide exceptional customer services and address customer concerns. Interact with members/coworkers in a professional manner. Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic or road constructions, as needed. Keep interior driver area of vehicle clean and presentable. Work at another location when necessary. Requirements Valid Florida license and reliable vehicle Previous Driving Experience with passenger transport preferred Clean Driving Record Must be able to communicate in English and Spanish Ability to be multitask and prioritize Must exhibit good active listening and comprehension skills Physical Requirements/Working Environment Must be able to work extended and flexible hours and weekends as needed Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds You will be eligible for a generous benefits package that includes: Paid time off (PTO) Paid Holidays 401K Voluntary Life Insurance Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Medical, Dental and Vision Benefits Humanitary Transportation Group, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
