2991437100-2 Apply for this job now Job Description PODS is seeking a safety-focused CDL Driver to join our Transportation & Logistics team. In this role, you will operate PODS trucks to deliver, pick up, and position portable storage containers for residential and commercial customers. You'll perform vehicle inspections, follow DOT regulations, and ensure secure, damage-free container handling. As the face of PODS on-site, you'll provide friendly, reliable service, assess placement locations, and solve problems in the field. Responsibilities Safely operate CDL vehicle to deliver, pick up, and relocate PODS containers Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and complete required DOT documentation Secure containers and loads according to safety and company standards Communicate professionally with residential and commercial customers on-site Assess placement locations and safely position containers using on-board systems Follow planned routes, schedules, and dispatch instructions Maintain accurate electronic logs, delivery records, and basic paperwork Report vehicle issues, incidents, or delays promptly to management Uphold PODS' customer-first and safety-focused culture on every job Required Skills Commercial driving (CDL) Vehicle inspection and basic maintenance Backing and maneuvering in tight spaces Load securement and safety DOT regulations and hours-of-service compliance Use of GPS and routing technology Customer service and communication Paperwork, logs, and electronic logs (ELDs) Safe operation of lift systems and handling equipment Time management and route planning
