Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years experience . We transport 48' flatbeds carrying rebar to various construction sites in South Florida and the Tampa area. Candidate must be reliable, safe, and have a flexible schedule. Responsibilities Connect and disconnect with flatbed trailers and ensure proper handling and securing of materials. Plan routes effectively to ensure timely delivery of goods while considering traffic patterns and road conditions. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road. Adhere to all federal and state transportation laws and regulations. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL), medical card, and a clean driving record. Proven experience in commercial driving with flatbed experience. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles effectively. Strong understanding of load unloading procedures and safety protocols. Excellent route driving skills with the ability to navigate using maps or GPS systems. Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) when necessary. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers. A commitment to maintaining a safe working environment at all times.
