Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious CDL Driver specializing in Household Goods to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers and specialized vehicles, to transport household items and freight across various routes. These routes include interstate operations where you can be on the road for extended periods of time. Your expertise in route planning, cargo handling, and adherence to federal and state regulations will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering exceptional service with energy and precision. Duties Safely operate commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers and straight trucks, following all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Load and unload household goods using manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo is secured properly for transport Navigate using GPS systems to follow optimal routes for over-the-road (OTR) driving routes and local deliveries Transport household goods efficiently across designated routes, including route driving and delivery driving assignments Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety, including checking for mechanical issues and proper load securement Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo manifests, delivery documentation, and incident reports in accordance with FMCSA regulations Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules, route adjustments, or vehicle issues Skills Proven experience in commercial truck driving, especially with household goods or freight transportation Knowledge of
