Role:
Habitat for Humanity of Walton County's ReStore is looking for a dependable and energetic ReStore Driver to join our mission-driven team in beautiful Santa Rosa Beach, FL! In this role, you'll be on the front lines of our operation — picking up donated goods and delivering them in support of a cause that builds homes, communities, and hope.
Responsibilities:
Operate a ReStore donation pickup truck safely and efficiently throughout the Walton County service area Pick up donated furniture, appliances, building materials, and household goods from donors Load and unload donations using proper lifting techniques and equipment Inspect donated items in the field and make acceptance decisions based on ReStore guidelines Provide excellent customer service and represent Habitat for Humanity professionally during donor interactions Maintain a clean, organized, and safe truck and equipment Coordinate with ReStore staff on scheduling, routing, and inventory intake
Requirements:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required Ability to safely operate a box truck or large cargo vehicle Must be able to lift and carry up to 50+ lbs regularly and work on your feet throughout the day Prior experience in delivery driving, moving, or logistics preferred Strong interpersonal and customer service skills Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated with a positive attitude Passion for community service and alignment with Habitat for Humanity's mission
