Job Description
Trash Truck Driver Virtuous Management Group (VMG) is proud to be the maintenance service provider of choice for this exquisite and beautiful property. Our mission, "to facilitate the growth of beautiful communities," sets the industry-standard for service in the properties we manage. The Trash Truck Driver is responsible for emptying trash cans through out the neighborhood with assistance from co-workers. Must have a clean driving record. Position is performed outdoors. Essential Functions Traverse the property with co-workers to empty trash cans placed at driveways of homeowners. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks and all other duties as assigned. Job Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalency preferred. Previous custodial experience is preferred. Knowledge and Skills Ability to properly utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures prior to use. Must have excellent verbal communication skills. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are required. Conditions of Work This position works under outdoor conditions and may be exposed to elements including but not limited to, chemicals, odor, weather and environmental conditions. The associate must be able to work in an upright standing position for extended periods of time, and must be able to sit, walk, crawl, climb, reach with hand and arms and lift 50 lbs. The employee must be able to quickly and easily navigate the property/building as required to meet the job functions and must be able to detect auditory and/or visual emergency alarms. The employee must be able to work extended and flexible hours and weekends as needed.
