Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating heavy-duty dump trucks to transport materials across various job sites and construction locations. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, adherence to safety regulations, and ability to navigate diverse routes will ensure timely deliveries and efficient operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale projects while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism. Responsibilities Safely operate dump trucks and tractor-trailers on over-the-road (OTR) routes, construction sites, and designated delivery points Load and unload materials such as gravel, dirt, debris, or hazardous substances with precision and care Use GPS navigation systems to follow optimized routes, ensuring punctual deliveries across multiple locations Comply with all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) standards, and hazardous materials regulations when handling dangerous goods Perform routine inspections of trucks before and after trips, including checking load security, fluid levels, brakes, lights, and tires Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery documentation in accordance with legal requirements Assist with logistics cargo handling by securing loads properly and ensuring compliance with safety protocols during loading/unloading processes Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and automobile transportation is a plus Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, hazard materials regulations, DOT standards, and hazardous goods handling procedures Ability to manually handle cargo safely during loading and unloading operations Experience operating manual transmission trucks and tractor-trailers equipped with manual handling features Strong understanding of truck loading/unloading procedures and logistics cargo handling techniques Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, route planning, and hazard awareness Join our team to drive your career forward in a fast-paced environment that values safety, efficiency, and professionalism. Pay:
From $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 45.0 per week
