Driver, you'll be the backbone of our transportation network, delivering goods efficiently and safely to various destinations nationwide. Your commitment to excellence will help us maintain our reputation for reliability and customer satisfaction. Duties Operate tractor-trailers with automatic transmission across diverse OTR routes, ensuring compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Safely load, secure, and unload freight including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and hazardous materials in accordance with hazardous materials regulations. Navigate using GPS systems to plan efficient routes for timely deliveries while managing route driving responsibilities. Transport a variety of cargo such as refrigerated goods, automobile transportation units, and dangerous goods with precision and care. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety, including checking for mechanical issues and verifying load security. Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, delivery records, and cargo handling documentation in compliance with FMCSA regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules, route adjustments, or any issues encountered on the road. Qualifications Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record; experience in over-the-road (OTR) driving routes preferred. Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including freight delivery and truck loading/unloading procedures. Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, hazardous materials handling, and logistics cargo handling is highly desirable. Ability to operate trucks with manual transmission and perform manual handling tasks safely. Knowledge of GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time adjustments during trips. Understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT requirements, and hazardous materials regulations to ensure compliance at all times. Strong driving skills combined with excellent safety awareness; previous delivery driver experience is a plus. Embark on a rewarding career that keeps you moving forward!
