As a Seasonal Animal Care Specialist, a husbandry based position, you'll gain real world experience in professional animal care and learn the basics of behavior training through observation. You'll work closely with a passionate team that's committed to first-class animal welfare and positive reinforcement practices.

What You'll Be Doing:

Responsible for the daily care like cleaning, feeding, and enrichment Assisting with simple training behaviors (ex. stationing, shifting, and crating) Observing and reporting on animal behavior Pitching in to keep the work environment safe, clean, and well-organized

Who We're Looking For:

You have a high school diploma or GED Some hands on experience (internships or volunteering) in animal care is a big plus You're comfortable working outdoors in Florida's heat You're a solid communicator, a team player, and eager to learn You're reliable, positive, and able to work weekends and holidays

What You'll Need Physically:

Able to lift 50 lbs Comfortable being on your feet and moving around for most of the day OK working in a loud, fast-paced environment The seasonal position is limited to a maximun of 39.5 hours per week and up to 120 days.
