Full Job Description Description:
Ulm Automotive LLC is seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL Driver to transport inventory, parts, materials, and equipment from vendors and suppliers back to our Bogart, Georgia facility. This position is responsible for traveling to supplier locations throughout multiple states to pick up materials that support our custom Sprinter and van conversion builds. The ideal candidate has experience driving commercially across state lines, maintains a clean driving record, and is committed to ensuring materials are picked up safely, accurately, and delivered to our shop on time. All transportation is focused on supporting our internal manufacturing operations by bringing inventory back to our Bogart facility.
Requirements:
Safely operate company commercial vehicles in compliance with all DOT and FMCSA regulations. Travel throughout multiple states to pick up inventory, parts, materials, and equipment from vendors, suppliers, manufacturers, and dealerships. Transport all materials safely back to the Ulm Automotive facility in Bogart, GA. Inspect shipments upon pickup and verify quantities against packing slips or purchase orders. Properly secure all cargo to prevent damage during transport. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of company vehicles. Maintain accurate driver logs, inspection reports, mileage records, and fuel receipts. Communicate with management regarding pickup schedules, delays, and route updates. Assist with loading and unloading inventory when necessary. Report vehicle maintenance or safety concerns promptly. Follow all company safety policies and DOT regulations. Qualifications Valid Class A or Class B CDL required. Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations. Minimum of 2 years of interstate commercial driving experience preferred. Experience traveling across multiple states. Current DOT Medical Certificate. Ability to pass a DOT drug screen, background check, and MVR review. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage travel schedules effectively. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Ability to load, unload, and secure inventory and materials. Ability to sit for extended periods while driving. Ability to work in varying weather conditions. Travel Requirements Frequent interstate travel. Overnight travel may be required depending on supplier locations and pickup schedules. Why Join Ulm Automotive?
