is hiring a CDL A Hazmat Tanker Driver based in Calhoun, GA . This role is responsible for transporting hazardous bulk chemicals/materials and making regular deliveries and pickups, including runs to Jessup, GA approximately 2-3 times per week . This is an over-the-road tanker driving position requiring 5 nights on the truck , with drivers home on weekends . The ideal candidate has a strong safety mindset , prior bulk tanker experience , and the ability to work independently while following all DOT and company safety regulations . Pay $0.575 per mile for over-the-road driving Hourly pay while loading and unloading $100 per night Home on weekends Benefits 401(k) Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Referral program Responsibilities Safely transport hazardous bulk chemicals/materials to designated locations Complete pickups and deliveries in a timely and efficient manner Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections Maintain accurate electronic logs (E-Logs) and transportation records Follow all DOT regulations, company procedures, and safety standards Identify and report safety hazards, near misses, accidents, and maintenance concerns immediately Properly wear and use required PPE at all times Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, customers, and team members Maintain professionalism while working independently with minimal supervision Minimum qualifications Valid Class A CDL Hazmat endorsement/certification Tanker endorsement Valid DOT Medical Card Minimum 2 years of bulk tanker driving experience Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) High school diploma or GED Additional requirements Must pass pre-employment drug screening Must pass DOT physical annually Must comply with all DOT and company safety requirements Must be comfortable with overnight travel Must be available for weekend and holiday scheduling as needed Must be able to work independently and follow instructions closely Physical requirements Sit, stand, and walk for extended periods Lift up to 75 lbs Work in rain, heat, cold, and changing weather conditions Work around noise and vibration Wear PPE continuously Work at heights when required Key skills Strong safety mindset Communication Problem-solving under pressure Ability to work independently Reliability and professionalism Attention to detail Ability to escalate issues quickly and appropriately

Pay:

$100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
