Job Summary We are seeking a reliable candidate who is highly trainable with a class A CDL license. This is not just a local truck driving position. We handle high value products such as medical equipment, printing equipment and items that are not easily replaceable. There is a high opportunity for growth in our company, looking for someone who isn't looking at this job in our company as the be all end all. looking for someone who wants to be a leader in a growing company Responsibilities Operate a day cab with a 53' trailer safely and responsibly Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. operate a forklift. on job training as well as certification available Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and mileage. Communicate with dispatchers regarding any issues or delays during transport. Adhere to all local, state, and federal traffic laws while driving. Ensure cargo is secured properly before transport to prevent damage during transit. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries. be able to safely wrap and protect product that is highly damagable be able to follow instructions to handle very delicate machinery safely Skills Proven experience in customer service Familiarity with freight handling and delivery processes. Ability to operate different types of trucks including straight trucks, forklifts and tractor trailers Strong knowledge of route driving techniques and navigation systems. Excellent communication skills for interaction with dispatchers and customers. Attention to detail for maintaining accurate logs and ensuring vehicle safety.
