Responsibilities Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and vehicle recovery tow trucks, to assist with vehicle breakdowns, accidents, and roadside emergencies Safely load and unload vehicles onto tow trucks following cargo securement protocols to prevent damage during transit Conduct basic vehicle troubleshooting and minor mechanical repairs to prepare vehicles for transport or assist stranded drivers Perform automotive diagnostics and minor repairs as needed to ensure tow truck functionality and safety Follow all safety procedures related to vehicle loading, cargo securement, and traffic management during towing operations Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, dispatchers, and emergency responders in high-pressure situations Maintain accurate logs of all towing activities, vehicle details, and incident reports for record-keeping purposes Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial truck driving experience preferred Proven experience operating tow trucks, especially flatbed models or vehicle recovery equipment Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and basic vehicle troubleshooting skills Familiarity with cargo securement protocols and safe vehicle loading techniques Ability to perform minor mechanical repairs on vehicles using manual transmission skills and automotive diagnostics tools Excellent conflict management skills to handle challenging situations professionally Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and best practices for roadside assistance operations Join us if you're passionate about driving, mechanical work, and providing exceptional customer service.
