Job Overview We are a growing company seeking highly skilled and motivated Experienced Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will operate heavy-duty dump trucks to transport materials across construction sites, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the smooth progression of construction projects, supporting various operations such as excavation, grading, paving, and site development. This position offers an exciting opportunity for drivers with a passion for heavy equipment operation and construction to showcase their skills in a fast-paced environment. A $1,200 signing bonus will be offered to qualified candidates after 90 days. Responsibilities Safely operate dump trucks. Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance. Load and unload materials efficiently while maintaining balance and stability of the truck. Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws while on-site and during transit to prevent accidents or injuries. Collaborate with site supervisors and other operators to coordinate deliveries and ensure project timelines are met. Maintain accurate logs of hours worked, materials transported, and vehicle maintenance records. Assist with auxiliary tasks such as horizontal drilling or paving operations when required, demonstrating versatility in heavy equipment operation. Skills Proven experience operating dump trucks in a construction environment with a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations. Mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, tankers, and horizontal drilling machinery. Skilled in operating Caterpillar equipment and other major brands used in construction projects. Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and ability to perform basic maintenance checks on vehicles and machinery. Ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills for working effectively with team members and site managers. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with endorsements relevant to heavy equipment operation.
