Job Overview We're looking for a professional driver who can safely transport freight, follow safety rules, and make deliveries on time. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers, on local/regional routes while adhering to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Navigate efficiently using GPS systems to plan optimal routes and ensure timely deliveries across multiple destinations. Load and inspect freight—general cargo—while following hazardous materials regulations and safety protocols. Handle logistics cargo with manual handling techniques to ensure proper load distribution and securement for safe transport. Deliver freight accurately to designated locations (drop/hook), managing route driving responsibilities with precision and professionalism. Maintain detailed documentation of deliveries, cargo manifests, inspection reports, and compliance records in accordance with DOT regulations. Communicate effectively with client and warehouse personnel to coordinate pickups and drop-offs while managing delivery schedules. Experience Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a focus on route driving and delivery driving. Hands-on experience operating tractor-trailers. Must follow DOT standards and safety procedures. Must have a Valid Commercial Driver's License A. Must be dependable, responsible, and able to work independently. Must have good driving skills and be comfortable driving in different weather conditions.
