Ellenwood, GA Pay:

$0.40 loaded mile $0.10 deadhead mile Dependable and experienced drivers Duties Safely operate a box truck during night shifts, adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with company policies Load, secure, and unload freight efficiently, practicing safe lifting practices and heavy lifting techniques Deliver pallets to designated locations with precision, maintaining excellent customer service standards Use mobile devices for route navigation, delivery updates, and documentation of delivery status Follow all safety protocols for manual transmission driving, weight handling, and warehouse operations Experience Previous warehouse experience or commercial driving background three years minimum Proven delivery driver experience with a focus on route driving and load & unload procedures Familiarity with box trucks, courier services, or commercial trucks is highly desirable Experience operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or similar tools Knowledge of safe lifting practices, heavy lifting techniques, and manual handling standards in warehouse environments Ability to adhere strictly to traffic regulations and DOT guidelines during all driving activities Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally with clients and team members This role is an exciting opportunity for energetic drivers who are committed to safety, efficiency, and delivering outstanding service.
