Responsibilities Safely operate CDL A trucks to transport hardware and high-value IT equipment between Suit Transportation and client data centers Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, reporting any mechanical or safety issues promptly Secure, load, and unload technology equipment, ensuring proper handling and protection of sensitive assets Adhere to all DOT, safety, and company transportation regulations and documentation requirements Coordinate schedules with dispatch and logistics teams to meet strict delivery timelines Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and electronic documentation systems Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to confirm deliveries and resolve issues Follow security protocols for high-value technology shipments and restricted facilities access Support continuous improvement of transportation routes, practices, and safety procedures Represent Suit Transportation professionally with excellent customer service on every route Required Skills CDL Class A license Long-haul and regional driving DOT regulations and compliance Vehicle inspection and basic troubleshooting Electronic logging devices (ELD) Freight securement and load balancing Handling sensitive and high-value equipment Route planning and time management Defensive driving and safety practices Basic documentation and delivery recordkeeping
