The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently as well as equipment. This role requires a strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and the ability to handle heavy lifting as well as operate various types of vehicles, including a small dump truck and roll back. The Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the quality of our services. Duties Safely operate delivery vehicles, including trucks and trailers, to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload items using equipment such as pallet skid steers and various construction equipment ensuring proper handling techniques are followed. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety compliance. Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and company policies. Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation for tracking purposes. Communicate effectively with management regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean 3 year driving record; a CDL is a must. Previous experience as a delivery driver, or in a similar role is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and manage physical tasks throughout the day. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate record-keeping. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
