Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Dump Truck Driver and take charge of transporting materials efficiently and safely across various job sites. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate heavy-duty trucks, including dump trucks, and contribute to large-scale construction, or infrastructure projects. You'll be the backbone of our logistics operations, ensuring timely delivery of materials while adhering to safety standards and transportation regulations. Responsibilities Operate dump trucks safely across over-the-road routes, construction sites, and designated delivery locations Load and unload freight, ensuring cargo is secured properly according to safety standards and regulations Navigate using GPS systems to reach destinations efficiently while complying with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) guidelines Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery documentation in compliance with DOT regulations Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips, reporting any maintenance or safety issues promptly Load, secure, and unload various types of freight including flatbed loads, tanker shipments, or other specialized cargo such as heavy equipment or materials. Experience Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a focus on truck loading/unloading, route driving, and freight delivery Familiarity with truck, trailers and equipment Knowledge of logistics cargo handling procedures and manual handling techniques for heavy loads Valid commercial driver's license (CDL A) with endorsements relevant to hazardous materials (Hazmat), tanker, or other specialized loads preferred Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT compliance, hazard communication standards, and safety protocols for dangerous goods Experience operating GPS navigation systems for route planning and adherence to scheduled deliveries Prior delivery driver experience involving manual transmission trucks is advantageous Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to safe driving practices while delivering essential materials efficiently. $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
